Beef Pulao Recipe
Beef pulao
is a flavorful one-pot dish made with beef, aromatic spices, and basmati rice.
It is a popular dish in South Asian and Middle Eastern cuisine and is often
served on special occasions or as a festive meal.
To make beef
pulao, beef is first browned in oil with a blend of whole spices like cumin,
coriander, cinnamon, cardamom, cloves, and bay leaf. Onions and ginger-garlic
paste are added to the pot, followed by chopped tomatoes, red chili powder,
turmeric powder, and salt. This mixture is cooked until the beef is tender and
the flavors are well combined.
Then, soaked
basmati rice is added to the pot and mixed well with the beef mixture. Water is
added and brought to a boil. The pot is covered, and the rice is cooked until
it's tender and the water has evaporated. The dish is then left to rest for a
few minutes before being fluffed with a fork and garnished with fresh coriander
leaves.
The result is a delicious and fragrant dish that is perfect
for sharing with friends and family.
